South African SPARK Schools Raises Series C Funding

Johannesburg-based SPARK Schools has secured an undisclosed amount in Series C funding round led by Creadev, alongside Imaginable Futures and the Finnish development finance institution Finnfund.

Established in 2012, SPARK Schools implements a blended learning model for private K-12 schools in South Africa, enabling students learn in both the traditional classroom setting and online. The funding will be used to expand into more primary and secondary schools across Africa to reach over 35000 scholars in the next ten years.
