Morocco-based retail tech startup z.systems has raised USD 1 M in a funding round led by MNF Ventures, with participation from Witamax, CASHPLUS Ventures, and Kalys Ventures. The funding highlights growing investor interest in z.systems’ innovative approach to reshaping the region’s fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) retail landscape.

Founded in 2024 by Meriem Benabad and Samer Choumar, z.systems operates as a super app designed to modernize B2B trade and distribution across diverse retail sectors. Initially, the platform focused on FMCG and now aims to expand into verticals like construction materials, home products, furniture, and electronics.

Co-founder Meriem Benabad, who has also co-founded other retail tech ventures such as Awal, brings extensive experience in revolutionizing FMCG distribution. z.systems offers mom-and-pop stores streamlined delivery and inventory management solutions, empowering small retailers to operate more efficiently.
