Kenyan Data Analytics Startup Gro Intelligence Raises Series B Funding

Kenyan data intelligence firm Gro Intelligence has raised USD 85 Mn in Series B funding round led by Intel Capital and Africa Internet Holding. Other investors include Schusterman Foundation, Rethink Food, GGV Capital, Dick Parsons, Data Collective DCVC.

Founded in 2014 by two female entrepreneurs along with Nemo Semret, Gro Intelligence is a big data and SaaS firm which focuses on the global agriculture industry. It provides agricultural data, insights and forecasts.
