ABC Fund Announces 2 Investments In Côte d’Ivoire Cooperatives

Agri-Business Capital (ABC) Fund invests in Côte d’Ivoire based agriculture cooperatives Enterprise Cooperative Kimbe (ECOOKIM) and Socak Katana. ECOOKIM received USD 970 K in debt financing through the ABC Fund, a fund managed by Bamboo Capital Partners in partnership with Injaro. In addition to this, the ABC Fund made additional debt investment into Socak Katana with amount undisclosed.

Established in 2004, ECOOKIM is a union of small cooperatives located in the rural communities across 12 provinces in Côte d’Ivoire. ECOOKIM educates its members who are producers on agricultural practices in farmer field schools. Socak Katana promotes cocoa production and educates producers on issues related to gender balance, climate change and child protection.
