Catalyst Fund, a global inclusive fintech accelerator managed by BFA Global, has announced the entry of six African fintech startups to join its portfolio. The startups have been selected into the eight cohort of its inclusive fintech accelerator and will receive a grant funding of USD 110 K, bespoke and expert-led venture building support from BFA Global, and one-on-one connections with investors and corporate innovators that can help them scale.
The selection includes three startups from Kenya – Lami, Koa, Power, Nigeria’s Indicina, South Africa’s Kandua, and Ghana’s Jetstream. The accelerator programme is supported by the UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO), JPMorgan Chase & Co., and fiscally sponsored by Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors.
