Kenya Based Sanergy Raises Funding Led By AXA IM Alts

Kenya-based waste management company Sanergy raised an undisclosed amount of funding led by AXA IM Alts, a global leader in alternatives investments. AXA made this funding through AXA Impact Fund Climate and Biodiversity. Other participants in the investment include Tokyo based investment platforms Mani Kapital and Kepple Ventures.

Founded in 2010, Sanergy aims to provide affordable and accessible waste management solutions. Based in Nairobi, it focuses on promoting the human rights of hygienic waste sanitation.
