CDC Group Acquires Minority Stake in Egypt Based Alfa Medical Group (AMG) for USD 100 Mn

UK development finance institution CDC Group acquired a minority stake in Egyptian healthcare provider Alfa Medical Group (AMG) along with healthcare investor Africa Platform Capital.

Founded as El-Safa hospital in 1977, AMG is one of the largest healthcare services provider in Egypt. The minority acquisition by CDC Group is aimed to enable AMG to expand its services all over Africa and establish the new Alfa Medical City.
