Egyptian Healthtech startup DilenyTech received a non-equity grant of USD 160 K from the Information Technology Academia Collaboration (ITAC) programme affiliated with the Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA). The startup received the fund few months after it was awarded a US patent for a novel AI-enabled image analysis technology.
Launched in 2018, DilenyTech aims in improving the quality of healthcare by developing AI and medical imaging solutions, breast cancer risk assessment, and structured reporting in several medical applications. The startup will use the fund to expand its AI-enabled platform and improve breast cancer detection.
