Kenyan Startup Raise Receives USD 25 K Investment From Microtraction

Raise, a Kenyan fundraising platform, has secured USD 25 K funding from Microtraction in return for seven percent equity. This is the first investment of the year by the VC firm.

Launched in 2018, Raise is a fundraising and equity management platform that aims to simplify the process of raising funds for founders and investors. The startup’s goal is to bring more fund to early-stage teams and create financial independence in Africa.
