ImaliPay, a Nigerian fintech startup has raised an undisclosed amount in a pre-seed round led by Australian VC firm, TEN13. Other investors who participated include FINCA Ventures, Mercy Corps Ventures (MCV), Optimizer Foundation, Changecom, and super angels from Norway, UK, Kenya, and Nigeria.
Founded in 2020, ImaliPay is a digital platform that offers financial solutions to gig workers across Africa, enabling them save seamlessly, and get in-kind loans. The startup will use part of the funding to expand its growth in existing markets.
