Kidato, a Kenyan edtech startup, has been selected into Silicon Valley-based accelerator, Y Combinator’s Winter 2021 batch. This comes with USD 125 K in seed funding as well as further support.
Founded in 2020, Kidato provides online academic and after school classes for K-12 students, allowing parents access the schools to enroll their kids in. The startup joins Nigerian Mono, and Ivorian Djamo as part of the 2021 cohort.
