Adjuvant Capital, a U.S.-based venture capital firm, has announced the close of new USD 300 Mn Global-Health Venture Fund. The fund is aimed at accelerating the development of medical innovations, giving more access to developing countries.
Led by Glenn Rockman and Jenny Yip, Adjuvant Capital is an independent asset management firm designed to scale-up public health investment globally. Investors of the fund include the Gates Foundation, Novartis, the International Finance Corporation (IFC), Merck, CDC Group, Beacon Pointe Advisors, the Children’s Investment Fund Foundation, the Doris Duke Charitable Foundation, Anthos Fund & Asset Management, ELMA Investments, the Ford Foundation, John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation, the Sorenson Impact Foundation, Global Health Investment Corporation (with funding from the Government of Germany through KfW), Dalio Philanthropies, and several others.
