Liquid Telecom Receives USD 840 Mn In Bond And Debt Funding

Liquid Telecom Group secured USD 840 Mn bond and term loan financing which comprises of a USD 620 Mn bond sale and USD 220 Mn term loan. The bond pricing attracted over 230 investor orders, including anchor orders from the International Finance Corporation (IFC), the Emerging Africa Infrastructure Fund (EAIF), and DEG.

Liquid Telecom is a communications solutions provider that offers high-speed connectivity, hosting & co-location, and digital services to mobile operators and other businesses. It is the largest builder of fibre optic cable network and data centres in Africa. This funding will help the company to accelerate its African expansion.
