Nigerian Transport Startup PlentyWaka Gets Backing From Techstars

PlentyWaka, a Nigerian ride-hailing platform, has announced an investment from Techstars, and its selection into Techstars Toronto accelerator program. The startup will join nine others in the 2021 class, and secure funding from the accelerator.

Launched in 2019, PlentyWaka provides transport service to commuters, offering comfortable and convenient ride for their trips. This investment comes alongside the launch of its interstate travel service where commuters can purchase bus tickets from different transport companies via the mobile app.
