Airtel Mobile Commerce To Receive USD 200 Mn Investment From The Rise Fund

A wholly-owned subsidiary of Airtel Africa, Airtel Mobile Commerce (AMC), to receive investment worth USD 200 Mn from The Rise Fund, a global fund managed by TPG Growth. Upon completion of the investment, The Rise Fund will hold a minority stake in AMC.

AMC operates under Airtel Money Brand, providing mobile financial services such as savings, loans, money transfers, virtual credit cards, mobile wallet deposit and withdrawals to its customers.
