Blueloop, a Nigerian fintech startup, got selected into Silicon Valley-based accelerator Y Combinator’s Winter 2021 batch. This comes with USD 125 K in seed funding and further support.
Founded in 2020 by Ben Eluan and Osezele Orukpe, the startup built Flux, a digital banking platform and cryptocurrency wallet which allows merchants receive payments, accept both international and local cash transfers via its mobile app. The startup joins other African particpants confirmed to be a part of the W21 batch. They are Mono, Djamo, Kidato, Dayra, Nowpay, VendEase, Flextock, Sendbox, and Prospa.
