Amethis Buys Stake In Moroccan Company Magriser Group

African private equity firm, Amethis, acquired a majority stake in Magriser Group, a Moroccan irrigation distributor via the Amethis MENA Fund II. The investment is aimed to enable Magriser transit to a new development phase which includes launching its own production unit for micro-irrigation pipes and the aim to expand activities in Morocco and Africa.

Founded in 1987, Magriser offers the installation of micro-irrigation equipment and solar pumping systems, helping farmers to reduce water input while boosting the state of agricultural productivity.
