Curacel Receives USD 450 K In Pre-Seed Funding To Drive Insurance Inclusion In Africa

Curacel, a Nigerian insurtech startup, has secured USD 450 K in a pre-Seed round led by Atlantica Ventures and Consonance Investment Managers. Other investors who participated include Kepple Ventures and several African angel investors.

Curacel helps insurers & partners in Africa and other emerging markets to increase the reach and functionality of insurance through APIs and cloud-based tools. The startup via her flagship product, CLAIMS, enables insurers to automate claims seamlessly and track fraud, waste, and abuse (FWA). The new round of investment will be used to accelerate product development and further expansion across Africa.
