Egyptian Fintech Startup Kashat Gets Angel Funding

Kashat, an Egyptian microloans fintech startup, has announced that it has raised funding of an undisclosed amount from The Cairo Angels, a global network of angel investors focused on supporting startup opportunities in Egypt, the Middle East, and Africa.

Kashat is a Nano lending mobile application that offers instant, short-term loans to small business owners. The app offers short-term loans that start from as low as 100 EGP(USD 6) up to 1500 EGP (USD 96) with a repayment plan of up to 61 days.  Kashat plans to use this new investment to fuel its growth in the region.
