Kidato, an online school for K-12 students in Africa, has announced that it has raised a USD 1.4 Mn seed investment to scale its operations. Start Capital, Launch Africa Ventures Fund, Graph Ventures and Century Oak Capital participated in the round alongside other notable local and global angel investors.
Kidato aims to provide high-quality, affordable education to Africa’s growing middle class. The company provides student-teacher ratios of 5:1 and integrates extra-curriculum activities for socialization.
