Three Ghanaian startups have been named top performers from the beta 2020 cohort of the MEST Express accelerator program. The three startups will receive equity-free funding and support from MEST and the Mastercard Foundation.
The MEST Express program aims to provide early-stage businesses with the expertise and tools they need to succeed and accelerate their growth.
The three startups include Bosea, a mobile technology and data science company that provides mobile loans in Ghana, which will receive a grant of USD 10 K to help improve its Credify product; WeGoo, a platform that supports small businesses with affordable and reliable on-demand delivery services, and Motito, which allows to users pay for essential items over time, will receive USD 6 K and USD 4 K respectively to support their operations.
