Rwandan E-commerce Platform Kasha Secures USD 1 Mn Funding

Kasha, a Rwandan female-focused e-commerce platform, has secured a USD 1 Mn investment from Finnfund, a Finnish development financier, to expand further across Africa.

Kasha aims to improve women’s access to healthcare products, genuine health, and hygiene. The startup allows customers to place orders for products such as menstrual care goods and contraception via its website, a mobile app, SMS shortcode, or phone call and delivers them confidently.
