Games Publisher Carry1st Raises USD 6 Mn In Series A Funding

Carry1st, a New York and Cape Town-based mobile game publisher that develops and publishes enhanced mobile games and content apps for African consumers, has raised USD 6 Mn in Series A funding. 

The round was led by Konvoy Ventures, with participation from Riot Games, Raine Ventures, AET Fund Akatsuki, and TTV Capital.

Carry1st seeks to use the investment to secure new partnerships with global gaming studios, launch and scale its existing portfolio of games, and expand its product, engineering, and growth teams.
