South African FoodTech Kombo King Secures Funding

Kombo King, a foodtech startup based in Cape Town, received an undisclosed amount of funding from The Vumela Fund, a joint venture between FNB Business and Edge Growth.

Kombo King is a South African kitchen equipment supplier specializing in ventless fryer technology that enables customers to automatically fry pre-packaged, par-cooked, or fresh meals without the need for expensive ventilation infrastructure to remove odors.
