Nigerian Healthtech Startup CribMD Closes USD 2.6 Mn Seed Round

Nigerian healthtech startup CribMD has closed a USD 2.6 Mn seed round for product growth and team expansion. The funding round was led by Sputnik ATX, a US-based venture capital firm, Norrsken, a Swedish accelerator, and mass media company, The Guardian Nigeria.

CribMD provides on-demand, affordable subscription-based telemedicine and doctor house calls in Nigeria, where primary care is in short supply. The startup is also currently experimenting with different service delivery features to provide easy-to-use services.
