Ghanaian Fintech Startup appsNmobile Secures USD 1 Mn Investment

Ghana-based fintech firm appsNmobile has secured a USD 1 Mn investment from Oasis Africa VC Fund to help it establish itself as a major player in Ghana’s and the sub-payments region’s markets. In addition, a portion of the funds will be utilized to meet the Bank of Ghana’s statutory capital requirement and other business requirements.

The company’s VPOS product, a market first, is a USSD solution that enables institutions such as schools, churches, pharmacies, OMCs, and businesses from diverse industries to accept payments utilizing several menus adapted to their respective industry.
