The financial details of the deal have not been disclosed. The transaction is expected to close in the third quarter of 2021.
Orange and AXA’s investment and network will accelerate DabaDoc’s growth and help to extend its services to other regions, particularly Sub-Saharan Africa. In addition, DabaDoc will earn the benefits of AXA’s extensive experience as a global leader in health insurance and Orange’s technology and payment infrastructure to develop digital solutions that scale swiftly and benefit patients and the entire African healthcare ecosystem.
