Egypt-based B2B marketplace Fatura has closed its USD 3 Mn pre-series A funding round led by Sawari Ventures, Arzan VC, Egypt Ventures, EFG-EV, The Cairo Angels, and Khwarizmi Ventures.

Fatura is a mobile app that links wholesalers and manufacturers with retailers across a wide range of sectors. The company has been operating in the FMCG market and is now experimenting with other industries.

The startup intends to use the funds to launch new services, launch several digitization efforts emphasizing digital payments, and expand to other nations in the area.
