Kenyan-based Blockchain Fundraising Platform Raise Secures Funding

Raise, a blockchain-based digital securities platform serving the African market, has received backing to scale its technology by 500 Startups, an early-stage venture fund, and seed accelerator.

The startup organizes data ownership for African companies and makes them accessible. On the platform, Raise customers can also automate due diligence, set valuations, track employee stock vesting, and make routine documentation for licenses and government documents in Nigeria and Kenya.
