Nigerian Startup Showlove Raises USD 300 K pre-Seed Funding

Showlove, a Nigerian social platform for gifting, has raised USD 300 K in pre-seed capital as it goes live with the first version of its product. The fresh capital came from Fedha Capital and other angel investors.

Showlove helps African businesses market their services and deals by making the process of requesting, giving, and receiving gifts and cash easier. The company aspires to build a fun community, or social network, where people can express their wants and needs with a small group of people or the general public. Thousands of vendors, small businesses, and hypermarkets are also involved.
