Union54, a Zambian fintech startup, has raised USD 3 Mn in seed funding. The Y Combinator-backed startup saw investments from Tiger Global, ACE & Company, and Runa Capital.
Union54 owns an API that allows software developers to create debit cards without the use of a bank or a third-party processor. The funding will go into building strong engineering, product, and sales teams.
