Egyptian digital learning platform OTO has received USD 400 K in cash and in-kind services from EdVentures, a corporate venture capital that invests in startups. The goal of the investment is to develop the company’s platform and further expand its services to include a broader segment of users particularly, middle and secondary school students, by delivering educational programs in a variety of areas/subjects.
OTO aims to bridge the gap between traditional education and market needs by providing distant educational services through its electronic platform. The company offers learners great flexibility to choose the session dates that suit them and the opportunity to communicate directly with the lecturers.
