VC firm Tofino Capital has completed the first close of USD 5 Mn of a USD 10 Mn fund focused on investing in early-stage companies in Africa, Latin America, Asia, and the Middle East. The funding comes from limited partners that include large family offices, top-tier venture funds, and HNWIs. The fund seeks to invest between USD 50 K and USD 1 Mn in pre-seed and seed companies across all sectors, but with a particular focus on B2B.
