Egyptian Healthtech Esaal Raises USD 1.7 Mn Seed Round

Esaal, a technology platform for online health and wellness consultations in the MENA region, has completed the final tranche of its USD 1.7 Mn Seed funding round, led by A15. This tranche brings the company’s total investment to date to USD 3 Mn since being founded in 2018.

Esaal is a telemedicine platform that offers audio, visual, and in-person consultations with experts on topics ranging from anxiety, physiotherapy, and pediatrics to nutrition in exchange for subscription fees. It also offers corporate employee programs. The startup plans to use the new financing to accelerate its product development, grow its team and extend its geographical footprint.
