South African Crowd-Farming Startup Livestock Wealth Secures USD 55 K Funding

Crowd-farming start-up, Livestock Wealth, has secured R10m (USD 55 K) from Mineworkers Investment Company’s Khulisani Ventures.

Livestock Wealth focuses on funding for cattle as it connects investors with farmers that require funding by using cattle as a form of investment. According to the company, the funding and partnership from MIC will boost the company’s expansion plans. The company is headquartered in Johannesburg and has a number of farms in its portfolio based in Free State and KwaZulu Natal. Investors can access the investment platform through a mobile app utilizing 5G and AI technology.
