Kenyan Furniture Company Moko Raises USD 6.5 M in Debt

Kenyan furniture company Moko Home +Living raised USD 6.5 M in debt financing from AlphaMundi Group, Talanton, Novastar Ventures, Blink CV and Kenya’s Victoria Commercial Bank.

Founded in 2014 by Eric Kouskalis, Moko sells home furniture, furnishings and accessories. It has reportedly sold over 350 K products so far. The fresh financing round will be used to expand its business line through both physical and digital channels.
