Egyptian Logistics Startup SIDEUP Raises USD 1.2 Mn Seed

SIDEUP, one of Mena region’s leading platforms for e-commerce services, has announced the completion of a USD 1.2 Mn seed round. This round saw participation from leading global and regional investors in early-stage growth startups, including Launch Africa VC, 500 Global, Riyadh Angels, Alex Angels,  Al Tuwaijri Fund, and Saudi angel investor Faisal AlAbdulsalam. 

SIDEUP (formerly VOO) provides e-commerce business owners with payment gateways, and API integration for shipping, warehousing, and fulfillment through one platform, to simplify operations and enhance customer experience. The company will utilize its investment to double down on its presence in Egypt and expand into Saudi Arabia, relocating its HQ to Riyadh.
