Kenya’s Zuri Health, a a digital healthcare startup with operations in Kenya and Nigeria, has raised undisclosed amount of funding from Morocco’s UM6P Ventures to support its growth and expansion across Africa. The startup plans to use the funding to upgrade its existing technology, hire additional personnel, and broaden its services and expand into more regions to reach more patients.
Zuri Health is a virtual, mobile-first, on-demand healthcare platform that helps patients quickly and easily access healthcare from certified healthcare providers, based on availability, location, and specialization. The healthtech allows patients to communicate and consult with doctors, purchase medication from pharmacies, schedule lab tests and diagnostic procedures, and arrange home visits with licensed medical doctors.
