DRC Congo’s Vault Pay Selected For YC Accelerator S23 Batch

Vault Pay, a payments infrastructure company, has been selected for the Y Combinator Summer 2023 class, making it the third African startup selected for the cohort. The fintech joins Nigeria’s food delivery startup ChowCentral and Rwanda’s Eden Care in this year’s cohort. The startup will receive USD 500 K as per YC’s new standard deal.

Founded in 2023, Vault Pay is building core payments infrastructure for Central Africa. The fintech offers instant payments, convenient banking services, and personalized solutions delivered through telcos’ networks. It aims to enable seamless integration and unprecedented opportunities by empowering telcos to directly distribute banking services.
