Moroccan Edtech Startup Smartprof Raises Funding

Morocco-based edtech Smartprof has raised an undisclosed investment from Fuze, a prominent player in funding Francophone African startups. Beyond financial backing, Fuze brings a fresh perspective to the challenges Smartprof faces. The investment will be used to expand Smartprof’s presence within the Francophone African tech ecosystem.

Smartprof offers an on-demand tutoring app for school-aged students. The edutech connects K-12 students with tutors pursuing higher education. Its mission is to bridge the gap between the supply of proficient tutors and the demand from parents searching for effective tutors for their children.
