Logidoo, a Pan-African logistics startup that provides cross-border services to eCommerce businesses, has received a USD 50 K grant to develop and promote artificial intelligence (AI) solutions for Africa’s logistics market. The capital injection is from the International Development Research Centre (IDRC), part of Canada’s foreign affairs and development efforts to support research and innovation in developing regions.
Logidoo, founded in 2019 by Tamsir Ousmane Traore, is an online platform that offers logistics services and real-time parcel tracking. Its long-term plan includes establishing a highly efficient network, reducing operational costs and transit durations, and improving customer satisfaction.
