Kredete, a digital lending marketplace startup, secured undisclosed funding from Launch Africa Ventures. The company, based in New York, provides services for African immigrants in North America to send money to 20+ countries instantly at low fees and build credit.

In 2022, Adeola Adedewe founded Kredete to revolutionize lending in Nigeria and beyond using AI technology and partnerships with financial institutions.

Using AI, fintech aims to improve users’ chances of loan pre-approval by offering personalized loan options that match their credit history and financial profile. This makes it easier for lenders to evaluate risks, minimize non-performing loans, and make well-informed lending decisions.
