Bokra and CIC Launch USD 200K Fund For Egyptian Student Entrepreneurs

Egypt-based fintech Bokra, in partnership with the Canadian International College (CIC), has launched a USD 200 K fund to support Egyptian students aspiring to become entrepreneurs. As part of this initiative, the partnership introduces “Bokra Academy,” a platform designed to bridge the gap between academia and industry by providing students with the guidance and resources needed to thrive in the business world.

Bokra Academy aims to equip students with the necessary skills through certified educational courses and offers a pathway to employment or access to funding for entrepreneurial ventures. The initiative is part of a broader effort to foster a more dynamic and digitally empowered business environment in Egypt, contributing to the vision of a ‘Digital Egypt.’

Last year, Bokra raised USD 4.6 M in the pre-seed round.
