Oyster Agribusiness Secures USD 2 M Investment

Ghanaian agritech company Oyster Agribusiness Ltd. has raised USD 2 M in funding from RDF GHANA LBG, SahelCapital’s Social Enterprise Fund for Agriculture in Africa (SEFAA Fund), and Root Capital.

Founded in 2018 by Edmond Kombat, Oyster Agribusiness is a vertically integrated company that produces, processes, distributes, and retails agricultural products across Africa. The company’s operations span a wide range of products, including plant, animal, and dairy products, and it moves goods from farms to finished products in the retail market. The new funding will support the company’s efforts to scale its operations and improve regional food security.
