Lagos-based talent hub JADA, which specializes in data and AI staff augmentation, has raised $1 million in funding. The investment was led by Olumide Soyombo, co-founder of Bluechip Technologies and Voltron Capital, alongside contributions from Massimiliano Spalazzi and other investors.
Founded in 2024 by Massimiliano Spalazzi and Olumide Soyombo, JADA aims to address the global Data and AI talent shortage while highlighting Africa’s untapped tech potential. The company connects highly skilled African professionals with international opportunities, aiming to fill the talent gap in a world where 54% of digital leaders cite skill shortages as a barrier to adapting to technological change.
The funding will enable JADA to scale its operations, enhance its talent-matching platform, and support African tech professionals entering the global workforce. JADA’s mission aligns with efforts to bridge the digital skills divide and position Africa as a leading source of technology talent for the global market.
