Egyptian Logistics Startup Nowlun Raises USD 1.7 M Seed Round

Egypt-based logistics startup Nowlun has raised USD 1.7 M in seed funding. Nama Ventures and A15 led the round, including Sanabil 500 Global and other angel investors.

Founded in 2021 by Moataz Khamis, Mahmoud Khaled, and Ahmed Emara, Nowlun is an online freight forwarding platform that allows customers to compare services and rates from over 30 shipping lines, providing immediate pricing options. The platform eliminates the need for lengthy quote processes and manual logistics management by streamlining price comparisons, customs clearance, and inland trucking. Nowlun’s user-centred approach aims to simplify freight operations, enabling customers to make informed decisions quickly and efficiently.

The funding will support Nowlun’s plans to scale its platform and expand its operations. The company’s mission is to revolutionize the freight industry, offering innovative solutions tailored to the needs of modern businesses in the logistics sector.
