Morocco-based fintech Premium Technology & Services (PTS) has raised USD 500 K in investment from BMCE Capital Investments, the private equity arm of the BMCE Capital Group, for an undisclosed stake in the company.
Founded in 2020 by Samir Younes, PTS specializes in providing advanced tools for digitizing traditional banking cards and integrating banking systems to meet the evolving needs of financial institutions and businesses. The company is recognized for pioneering digital payment solutions in Morocco, including the introduction of Apple Pay and Google Pay.
One of PTS’s key offerings is the SIMP Console, a platform that simplifies complex banking protocols such as ISO 8583, ISO 20022, SOAP, and JSON through a fully configurable common infrastructure. This technology helps reduce operational costs and enhances connectivity with financial service providers.
The new funding will support PTS in advancing its technology, scaling its operations, and strengthening its position as a leader in Morocco’s digital payments landscape. With innovation at its core, PTS aims to streamline banking processes and drive the adoption of modern financial technologies in the region.
