Warioba Ventures has announced its investment in Tunzaa HQ. Local angel investors Andrew Kudoja and Irene Madeje Mlola participated in the round. This Dar es Salaam-based fintech company has developed an innovative payments API enabling e-commerce transactions to be processed in instalments. This solution addresses a critical gap in African markets, where many consumers lack access to debit and credit facilities for immediate e-commerce payments.
Founded in 2021 by Ng’winula Kingamkono, Tunzaa HQ’s platform fosters a culture of savings by enabling consumers to save towards specific goals through gamified incentives. Whether it’s purchasing a smartphone, household appliances, or educational tools, Tunzaa allows consumers to achieve their aspirations sustainably and affordably.
This investment aligns with Warioba Ventures‘ mission to empower Africa’s future by investing in technology-driven solutions that tackle the continent’s biggest challenges.
