Moroccan Eyewear Startup LNKO Secures Investment from Beltone Venture Capital

LNKO, a fast-growing omni-channel D2C eyewear startup, has secured a strategic equity investment from Beltone Venture Capital to fuel its expansion across Africa. Founded just four years ago, LNKO has rapidly established itself as a leader in the eyewear market, offering stylish and affordable eyewear through a fully digitised value chain.

The company, which had previously raised USD 335 K in 2021, serves over 100,000 customers, operates 10 retail locations in Morocco, and maintains a strong online presence across 24 countries.

Beltone Venture Capital sees this investment as a key step in its broader African expansion strategy. Ali Mokhtar, CEO of Beltone Venture Capital, emphasised LNKO’s strong growth potential and innovative approach to eyewear, stating that the company’s vision aligns with Beltone’s mission to support transformative businesses in the region.

LNKO’s CEO and Founder, Maha Bennani, welcomed Beltone as a strategic partner, highlighting the venture firm’s experience in scaling successful D2C startups. With Beltone’s backing, LNKO aims to accelerate its growth and make high-quality, stylish eyewear accessible to more consumers across Africa.
