Egypt’s B2B SaaS Startup Qme Raises USD 3 M Seed Round
Egypt’s B2B SaaS Startup Qme Raises USD 3 M Seed Round

Egypt-based B2B SaaS startup Qme has secured USD 3 M in a seed funding round led by AHOY, a multisector tech company, alongside angel investors from the GCC. Founded in 2022 by Maged Negm, Qme offers an AI-powered digital infrastructure that integrates booking, queuing, payments, and analytics solutions, tackling inefficiencies in key sectors across the MENA region.

The fresh capital will help Qme enhance its technology stack, expand its market reach, and build strategic partnerships. Since its commercial launch in late 2023, Qme has served over 100,000 customers in healthcare, banking, and government sectors, reducing average waiting times from 116 minutes to just 14 minutes and cutting phone booking no-show rates to below 1%. The platform’s digital solutions are replacing outdated paper-based systems, saving around 50,000 square meters of paper.

The investment marks a pivotal moment for Qme, as its collaboration with AHOY provides access to advanced technology and operational expertise across logistics, aviation, and traffic management. AHOY’s CEO, Jamil Shinawi, has joined Qme’s Advisory Committee, reinforcing the startup’s mission to streamline customer experiences and eliminate inefficiencies.

Qme is also part of AHOY’s Startup Builder Initiative, which aims to support 10,000 entrepreneurs and 30,000 software developers in MENA by 2030, fostering innovation in sectors like transportation, aviation, and smart city development.

With this funding, Qme is poised to redefine how businesses and governments interact with customers, creating seamless, tech-driven experiences and positioning itself as a key player in the region’s digital transformation journey.
